An unfiltered assortment of items including sentimental objects and non-important memorembelia was distributed to the audience with a simple prompt:
make two piles ‘keep’ and ‘discard’
items discarded must be physically destroyed using a shredder or scissors by the audience
It took six and a half minutes for the sorting to be complete. Around a third of the were shredded, cut or torn by the audience.
